TIPS - IDEAS - HOPE
As I mentioned way back in the Intentional Living Series intro, one of the ways I live my life with intention is starting each morning with prayer and devotions. It’s such a powerful way to set the tone of your day!
First, know that there are many ways to connect to God, and they are unique to you. Think of the things that bring you contentment, joy, appreciation, awe, gratitude, fulfillment, delight, connection, belonging, or love. In those moments you are connecting to God.
For me, in addition to things that bring me that connection throughout the day, I use the morning to sit in gratitude of all my blessings, pray for protection over me and my family as we go about our day, pray for others who are on my mind or in need, and ask God to use me towards his efforts fulfilling my purpose in that day.
Then I top it off with a quick daily devotion. (Stop by social to see my stack of cherished devotionals!)
What makes your morning meaningful? I encourage you to use this time to be renewed for the day and start fresh with a “full cup”.
